Award Season!
It's a Happy Day at the Lake!
Celebration!
Hey readers! I have great news to share. The awards are coming out and all three of my novels have either won or placed!
The WINNER!
The Clovis Dig is the Winner of the Legacy Fiction Award for the 15th Annual International Book Awards, an organization based in Los Angeles.
Jeffrey Keen, President and CEO of American Book Fest which manages the award, said this year’s contest yielded thousands of entries from authors and publishers around the world, which were then narrowed down to the final results.
Woo Hoo! In case you haven’t read it, The Clovis Dig is the story of an East Wenatchee orchardist, Claire Courtney, who discovers ancient artifacts buried beneath her orchard. She hires Native American archeologist Joe Running to conduct the dig. Spencer Grant, a world-renowned archeologist arrives on the scene when the Dig makes the news, and the conflicts begin. Then, something unexpected is discovered beneath the orchard grass.
Bronze Audiobook Award
The Audiobook of Invisible by Day WON the BRONZE award in The Wishing Shelf Awards. Invisible by Day is historical fiction — kind of a gritty Downton Abbey. Narrator Grace Gray a professionally trained actress, is amazing, and brings the book to life!
The Wishing Shelf is an organization based in the United Kingdom founded by children’s author Edward Trayer.
Finalist and Montaigne Medal Nominee (by the judges!)
My most recent novel, The Restless Lake, has been named Finalist for the Eric Hoffer Award! The award honors the memory of American philosopher Eric Hoffer by highlighting excellence in writing.
Also, The Restless Lake has been nominated by the Eric Hoffer judges for the Montaigne Medal, which recognizes the most thought-provoking books — books that either illuminate, progress, or redirect thought. This is an additional distinction beneath the Eric Hoffer Award. Final awards will be announced May 15th.
The Restless Lake is the story of a Seattle tech executive and a Croatian Olympic gold medalist who meet at the wilderness community of Stehekin at the head of Lake Chelan, each hiding their own painful secrets.
Here’s what my publisher, Dave Lane of Evolved Publishing LLC, had to say (I’m blushing): "We always knew Teri Fink was a talented writer, a real pro, which is why we were thrilled to bring her on board. Nonetheless, the responses to all of her books by award sites, professional reviewers, and book consumers alike have exceeded even our high expectations. Her books leave a lasting impression in the best way for readers."
Gee whiz! Thanks, Dave!
I’m thrilled that all three of my novels are receiving recognition. It’s a happy day at the lake today!
My novels are available in paperback, eBook, and audiobook. They are available locally at A Book for All Seasons, Leavenworth, Ye Olde Bookshoppe and soon at Fable in Wenatchee, and Riverwalk Books in Chelan. The novels and audiobooks are sold online wherever books and audiobooks are sold.
Happy Spring, everyone!

Wow, wow, wow Teri! Huge congratulations on all of these awards! They are all great books and it's awesome that you are winning awards for them. Keep writing girl - looking forward to more!
